I installed version 2.7.3+build.2022.09.26.13.53.56.486969333 and now when I log in the backend of joomla I get the error An error has occurred. 1406 Data too long for column 'Installedversion' at row 1. Looks like the next version has a really long name as well. How do I fix this?

Installedversion doesn't exist as a database column in Joomla or CB. You've something else installed causing that. Are you using anything that could impact install processes like Akeeba Backup maybe?

The error happened right after I updated community builder. I don't have akeeba backup.

It's not coming from CB. We don't have a Installedversion database column. Neither does Joomla.

You'll need to go through your extensions as something installed is doing that. Extension versions in Joomla are entirely contained in the JSON manifest_cache column and their XML files. For CB they're entirely contained in their XML files. So you've something installed with that database column that doesn't like the length of CBs version.

Hi I just uninstalled community builder and it fixed the error. When I installed community builder back again the error came back. I installed the newest version. So the problem is with the package file. Can you help.

Do you have something like AkeebaBackup installed? or AdminTools? As replied above the "Installedversion" column doesn't exist in Joomla or CB. It's something else installed with that column causing issues. My best guess is something installed that does something to the extension installation process.
