Problem with SSL on regsitration page was created by romio09
Hello,

after switching the website to ssl the registration page doesn't show correctly and registration is not working. The template is no longer applied (icons are missing etc.). After sending a registration the following error appears:

"Session expired or cookies are not enabled in your browser. Please press "reload page" in your browser, and enable cookies in your browser. Please refresh/reload page before filling-in."

Link to page:
www.varmeco.de/registrieren.html

The same issues appear on forgot password and forgot username pages.

Any help on that? Thanks very much in advance!

Just solved the problem! Https has to be set also in configuration.php:

public $live_site =' www.mysite.com ';

After that eyerything works well again.

live_site should just be '' (empty) in configuration.php. There's no reason to set it unless you've a specific case where you need to enforce a different domain name.

Hi there!
Could you find an other solution?
I also have the "Session expired and cookies........*****......" problem.
You could look in this theme on pages 3 and 4:
www.joomlapolis.com/forum/146-general/227287-session-expired-or-cookies-are-not-enabled-in-your-browser-issues-after-upgrading-to-cb-2-0-2?start=18

I'm still looking for answer, cause I have this problem on several sites with CB, when you press Register button, it gives you the
"Session expired or cookies are not enabled in your browser. Please press "reload page" in your browser, and enable cookies in your browser. Please refresh/reload page before filling-in."
error....
