Hide field or tab if user is offline

A field or tab must appear if user is online and disable if user is offline.

Can we do that?

You can do this at the tab level (for all the fields on the tab) by making tab accessible to Registered users (other tabs can stay public).
There is also a CB configuration setting that you need to set for this.

If you need the tab to appear only for user owner then you need CB Privacy (commercial add-on available to Professional members).

Thanks for your reply. But what I need is, tab of user X must seen if user X is online. Other registered or non registered users must see the tab when user X (tab's owner) is online.

yes it's doable with CB Conditional (commercial add-on available to Professional members)
so you could have a tab that's only displayed if the profile owner is online for example
