I have seen there is a extention called content statistics by joomlathat, which looks promising but before i go spending a lot of time and money on cbuilder and content statistics I would like to know that it will be possible to develop an advanced way to track user interactions with my site so that i may display them.

I have no experience with Jlex or JFBconnect, so I cannot offer any specific insight.
If these user interactions are recorded in your database tables, you could use a CB Query field to display them (Professional membership needed).
