Link to User Edit screen in Admin

Hello ..
I have a custom component that refers to Users in Community Builder. I would like to make the User Name a hotlink to the Edit screen for the specific user. This is in the Joomla Admin area.

The link that shows when hovering over in Community builder itself is:
administrator/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=showusers&view=showusers#edit

There must be a way to inject a specific user id and be taken into the edit screen.

Can someone assist me?Thanks!

of course it is - your custom component needs to formulate the URL you already know by first grabbing the userid you are interested in.

This is really up to the logic of your component and Joomla api.

But I built the URL in the component and it just takes me to the user listing in Community Builder and not to the specific EDIT screen for the user.

Try this:

index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=edit&cid=USER_ID_HERE
