Password required in user profile

Hi,i installed CB 1.8 and joomla 1.5 since i put for a security password to access to the folder that happens administrator password is required to see user profile even if it is allowed access anyway. How can i remove this annoyance?

Not really a CB issue is this?

Remove the security access from folder.

I put a password on the folder administrator to increase the security of the entire site, as is recommended by experts in the forum joomla.it. So i wanted to know how to remove only the pasword prompt entry into the user profile page.
