Joomla user groups registered in CB

Hello:

Using Joomla 2.5.7 with CB 1.8.1.

Already Googled and searched forum posts, haven´t found this. Looking for a way to filter Joomla registrations by group, so only the desired (target) user groups go inside CB user management.

Please advise.

Hi and welcome to our forums.

Good for searching, but you can't find what doesn't exist.

CB user additions always result to adding and syncing corresponding Joomla user records.

This is by design so that all users are automatically enabled in Joomla and other Joomla extensions.

I am not sure what you are trying to do or why, but it cannot be done with CB as it was designed to work.

I created a user group which is Joomla registered by default; and are searching for a method to restrict all other groups to automatically go inside CB.

Maybe a CB extension, or a hack to accomplish these?
