Hi,
I am planning on starting a community site and would like to use Joomla CB. I am a little lost as to whether I can use CB as the base plug in and add others or whether CB will be able to satisfy my needs.
My community site needs to have the following functionality :
1. A main community that ALL and ANY members can join
2. Sub-communities for specific groups i.e
- Recruitment Club ( where members need to complete a registration form for this club)
- Lifestyle club ( where members need to complete a different registration )
- Models Club ( also different form for registration )
3. Sub - Sub communities/groups for each of the communities
- Recruitment - will have many sub-sub communities that specific types of people can join
i.e IT, Finance, etc
4. Newsletter to be sent out to the different groups
I am planning on using the FREE plug ins and the free CB plug in as well and as soon as it works, I can start looking at more complex plug ins that are commercial etc.
Can someone assist me with the following :
a) Can the free CB and the other free plug ins ( club manager etc), provide this functionality
b) Which free plug ins can I use for the different sub-communities i.dating, models club, recruitment etc.
