Registration submit goes to login page.

:huh: Please help.
Using joomla 1.5.23 disabled joomla registration. using CB 1.7 to Register and submit the registration form it goes to a login page which says "You must login first to access the private area of this site"

i could be wrong but it sounds like you may have the site restrictions blocking it
the redirect after login is /index.php?option=com_comprofiler. i would look there.
reduce some of your site restrictions till it works then evaluate
i am not a pro at this but thats where i would start

I'm not sure what is going on here because now after submit Cb registration form it no longer goes to " you must login first" I now get this error message:
Not Found

The requested URL /index.php&Itemid=183 was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I cleared site cache, disabled sef but still it the same error message
