Hello,

I'm running CB 1.8 over joomla 1.5.25 and I'm not receiving system emails notifying of a new user registration altough the user receives the welcoming email with his account details.

I have checked:
CB > User Maneger > Admin users > Proflie > Receive Moderator emails=YES
CB > Configuration > Registration > Allow user registration=yes, indendently(...)
CB > Configuration > Registration > Require admin aproval = YES
CB > Configuration > Registration > Require email confirmation=YES
CB > Configuration > Moderation > Moderator aprove users=YES
CB > Configuration > Moderation > Send Moderator emails=YES
CB > Configuration > Moderation > Moderators Group > Administrators

I have tested mass mailing for the admins and mails were sent OK.

How can I fix this situation?

welcome to our forums.

I believe that if a certain admin approves a user in frontend, then that admin will not get new user registration notification.

Thank for your fast response.

Users are beeing aprovend in backend, and none of the admins receive notifications when new users are registered.

Any ideas?

I don't think backend approving of users ever sent admin notifications.

I think I dont explain me well... I will try to make it more clear.


When new users register on my site they receive the welcoming email containing a link to activate the account, nothing wrong with this.
At the same time moderators (admins) receive, or should, an email notifying of a new user account to be aproved ("ACTION REQUIRED! New User Registration Pending Approval").

This was working until a few days ago and the only thing I have changed was the text inside CB Configuration Manager > Registration > Pending Approval Email

But I have undo the changes to the original text and the admins still don't receive the email notifying of a new user requiring activation.


Hope this way you can understand better.
