I'm setting up a website which has subscriptions that ends on december 31th every year, but i need the users to be able to renews in advance (like pay in december 2023 for year 2024). I know i can do this in the options and i've set this up correctly.
The problem is that i don't know how this work for the first user registration, i don't want that ppl that register on december 2023 will have the subscription valid for 2024... i just need the users that register for the first time pays for 2023 only (even if the register on december 30th).
Is this ok? Or do i have to setup something in particular to disable advance renew for first registrations?
Thanks

For By Calendar based durations you can specifically control that with the "Bonus time before first period start (for calendar-based durations)" pricing parameter. Set it to "No bonus", but you're probably going to have some very angry customers who pay full price and get 1 day of service, lol.
