New subscriptions not registering in CBSubs

Hi,

A number of paid subscriptions are not being logged in my CBSubs installation. They are added to CB users with all details intact and assigned their usergroup, however I've had to manually add them to CBSubs via their backend profile. This seems to happen for 1 in 10 subscriptions, even though I receive payment advice.

At other times, declined payments are still added to CB users, however not to CBSubs. I then have to delete that user and contact them to try again!

Is this a common problem? It seems strange the system works most of the time, however not for others!!

What payment gateway are you using? Only reason for a new subscription to not be added after paying is the IPN never arrived, your server blocked it, or there was an error processing the IPN. If there was an error it should be in CBSubs > Notifications and/or CBSubs > History Log. As for a declined payment being active it can be the same situation where it originally is accepted and later verification at the gateway (after payment) declines it which should send an IPN for CBSubs to reverse the subscription. In short this typically only happens due to communication problems between your site and the payment gateway.
