I originally created two levels of membership - one year and lifetime.
I have now eliminated the one year membership, and will only offer a paid lifetime membership.
Can I upgrade users who are currently on the 1 year plan to the lifetime plan from the backend? I'm just going to give them the upgrade for free but can't see how to do it.

Yup, edit them within CB > User Management then under their Subscription tab simply subscribe them to your new plan.
