I just cannot get my head around how to configure emails for subscribers.
I have 3 types of members. Two paid types and one free. My clients want them all to be approved prior to receiving their login details.
To me the logical process would be for free members to receive a welcome email explaining that their membership is yet to be approved and that they will receive login details once approved. Obviously approval is a manual process.
The paid members should receive a welcome email once Paypal payment has been received which also explains that their login details will be emailed once membership is approved. Those paying by bank transfer should receive an email explaining that they should confirm their payment and once paid then they will receive the approval email and their login details.
I'm going around in circles trying to understand which plugins do what here, and what code needs to be used in which emails and from where!
The manuals have not been much help.
Could someone please provide some information written in lay terms so I can get this done.
