Thank you for your response, and I apologize for the long delay in getting back to you on this.

I must confess I'm not familiar with how I would actually override the CSS or where I would do this.

Is this something that's hard-coded and that I'll need to edit the PHP to modify? Has 4.1.0 made it any easier? Is this something I need to edit within CB or CBSubs?

That topic isn't really relevant anymore with latest CBSubs as I've already rewritten the rounded template to be entirely Bootstrap 3 compatible. It's completely responsive now and now longer stuck with specific widths as it doesn't use images anymore. For any custom CSS overrides you can add them using the CSS overrides functionality built into CB as shown below.
