Sorry, my mistake, yes I was originally tried...

[cbsubs:if plan="1" status!="A"]NOT ACTIVE[/cbsubs:if]
[cbsubs:if plan="1" status="A"]ACTIVE[/cbsubs:if]

but changed it because I was trying anything to get it working. Event with the above code it does not work.

Works perfectly fine in my tests. My guess is either CBSubs isn't up to date or you've the wrong plan id supplied. Please PM backend super administrator login credentials and will take a look. Please include the plan name of the plan you're trying to configure this for.

Have reviewed your install. You were not up to date. I've created a backup then updated CB and its plugins. It's working fine now.

Thank you for that, yes last night I re-subscribed to CB Professional and updated the plugins (not all of them though, just the ones in red) but I didn't go back to check on that as I renewed to try and resolve another problem.

Anyway, it is all working now :)

...but just one more little thing, when I subscribe to one plan, the checkbox for the other plan dissappears.

You're actively subscribed to plan 1. There's no need for a checkbox. You can not renew multiple plans at once and you can not subscribe and renew plans at the same time. The second plan is the only plan available so again no need for checkbox and just shows you directly the buttons to upgrade.
