CB Subs CB Field was created by s2scommun
Hi team,

I am using the CB Subs CB Field plugin to allow users to upload their files for review according to the access given by their subscription plan. I have utilised the CB File Field plugin to allow this to work however CB Subs doesn't notify me when a file is uploaded by the user? I have activated the notification setting in CB File Field plugin so I'm wondering if CB Subs is blocking the email to be sent to admin?

CB File Fieldtype plugin has nothing to do with CBSubs. CBSubs Field plugin doesn't notify you of field changes or anything of the sort. It simply lets you change a fields value using CBSubs plans. So for example when a user subscribes you can change a fields value to 123.

Ensure you're using the latest release of the CB File Fieldtype plugin (1.6) by checking its description within CB > Plugin Management. Leave "To" empty so it sends to all moderators. Next ensure moderator emails are enabled within CB > Configuration > Moderation. Once done edit your user within CB > User Management and ensure you're set to receive emails.

Thanks for your reply krileon, sorry I should've made it clear that I was using CB File Field in conjuction w/ CB Subs Field. Therefore, when a user uploads (only if they're under a certain subscription) in the file field then I should be notified as expressed in the parameters.

I followed your instructions and I still do not receive emails when my user uploads their file from the front end. I really need this to be solved or else our purchase of CB Subs (and our site's purpose) would be worthless as we are running a subscription service whereby our users can upload their documents for review. If we do not have any notification of these uploads then we cannot complete our service appropriately.

Are there any issues with using CB File field w/ CB Subs that may prevent this from sending out a notification email when a user uploads? As mentioned before, I DO receive an email if I upload a file from the backend through CB > User Management.

Thanks for your time :)

Where on frontend are they uploading from? Registration? Profile edit? or profile view with ajax. Have you tried specifying a To address within CB File Field parameters specifically to your email address to see if it'll then send to you?

Profile view with ajax - I have attached a screenshot to be sure.

I've also tried putting a To address and neither that has worked (as mentioned before it always works if I upload a file from the backend though).

Does it work if you upload from profile edit instead of Ajax?
