PayPal Recurring Billing

PayPal Recurring Billing was created by ssbechtold3
Hi guys,

I'm starting to setup CBSubs with PayPal as my payment processor. My question is that when I go to setup PayFlow I see that recurring billing is another $10 a month. Is that required if I want to give my site's user the options to automatically renew or is it not necessary because CBSubs handles this in some manner?

Thanks!

We don't have PayPal Payflow. We have PayPal Standard, PayPal Advanced, and PayPal Pro. Please see the below link for signing up for whichever you intend to use.

PayPal Advanced uses their Payflow Pro (Basic) and Payflow Link (Basic) APIs. It will eventually be extended to support Merchants other than PayPal though. For now the merchant is hardcoded to PayPal, but you can try editing the gateway if you feel necessary.

Recurring for Advanced and Pro is an additional purchase. You only need recurring if you intended to have recurring payments; otherwise just use single payments.
