CB Subs and Akeeba Ticketing was created by iglew
Like many cb and cb sub users our client base has a need for paid support for issues not relating to our website. We currently use Huru but there are problems in that it is no longer actively developed or supported.

A bigger issue is that we have to sell a time based subscription which is abused. We finalised a replacement down to MAQMA (as used by Joomla) and Akeeba Tickets.

Akeeba has the facility to purchase credits which can then be used as needed by the client.

So my point is would you consider a cb subs plugin for the akeeba ticket system?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this post.

Probably don't need a plugin for it. Simply use CBSubs SQL Actions and a database query to increment the credits a user has. You could do this in a merchandise plan so it can be easily purchased multiple times as needed.

Thanks that's a good suggestion if we go that route. MaQMA help desk (as used by Joomla) advises that they will be releasing a cb subs plugin very soon. Are you aware/helped advised as that would be our preferred help desk.

Thank you in advance

We had no hand in helping them or any other develop with a CBSubs integration. Review their source carefully and use at ones own risk. Now that CBSubs is open source there is likely to be several 3rd party integrations available in the near future.
