Community Builder 2.4 added the Import Users functionality to the CB User Management page.
The functionality is accessed via the upload icon situated in the top right hand area of the CB User Management page.
Before you select a CSV file to trigger the import process, you can change the default import mode to one of:
- Always create new entries ignoring ids of records to import (default)
- Overwrite existing entries with records matching ids
- Ignore import records with matching ids
Each of these options is useful and helps you to add new users to your site or to update existing users with new data.
The import file CSV format is the same as the export file CSV format. You should first use the Exporting Users feature to get the file format for your website and use it as a template to create your import file.
