New today, so please forgive any ignorance. Is there an extension or add on to allow for users to have multiple profiles to post with?

No, it's not possible for a single user to have multiple profiles. They would need to re-register with a new username and email address in order to create a second account, but it would have no relation to their first account.

Thank you for your reply. I'm assuming since I have had a hard time even searching the topic, it's not a highly sought after feature. My users really need multiple profiles and I was hoping to find a work around for that. Thank you for your answer, though :)

Sorry, as far as I am aware no one has even attempted such an integration.

With more details as to why you need multiple profiles for a single user I could possibly recommend and extension that would help in handling that specific aspect of needing multiple profiles.

I have a forum with pet owners. They used to use ..... for their forum. This site, as crazy as it might seem, enabled them to set up profiles for their pets under their username. But the site is closing at the end of the year. I've set up a forum for them to go to at least temporarily, and was hoping to allow them the profiles for the pets. We're just crazy dog and cat people  . Thanks for your help.

I believe you could do what you're wanting using a Directory extension such as mostree , sobi2 , odude , etc... I recommend reviewing their demos and trying them on a test install to see what fits your needs most. Either one would work well in conjunction with CB as users could list their Pets and the users would have their own profile for themselves. Not much more to suggest, sorry.
