Contact List Types

Hi I,ve searched everywhere including the most recent FAQ but can not find an explanation of what the difference is between the tree contact list types are. My best guesses are:



Normal contact list - Only available to the authoring user?
Global contact list - Shared with all members automatically?
Restricted contact list (only list members can access the list) Shared with all members of the list?

Hello,
I can only share the list with "administrator". How can I share the list also with "registered" users ?
For a "registered" user:
- he can make a list
- but it's impossible to specify the type of the list
- he can't see any list,
is it normal ? Is it possible to change this, if yes, how can I do it ?

Only admins can create "global" and "restricted" user lists. Registered users can only create "private" lists.

All users can see
- own lists (private lists)
- restricted lists, when they are list member
- global lists

As administrator, I can create & specify a Global list.
But when I use a "registered" account, I don't see any global list (even when I am a list member)

The userlist page does only show lists you can edit. Goto the compose page and you will see all global lists.
