Problem w uddeIM PMS Content Link

Hi.

I've scoured this forum pretty thoroughly and double checked the read me and faq and I can't seem to find a solution to my problem.

I've got the uddeIM PMS Content Link Plugin installed and activated. I've inserted this into the article for an author to allow registered users to send the author a private message:
{pmslink:id=theNumber, Reply to Author}

When I check the generated HTML in the article I see this:
<a href='index.php?option=com_uddeim&task=new&recip=66&nouserlist=7'>Reply to Author</a>

After Looking through the faq's 3rd party connection section, I'm convinced this is also correct. When I click on the link I'm taken to the compose mail form, the author's name is correctly filled in, so again everything looks correct.

After composing my message and hitting send, the "To" bar goes completely red and a message underneath the bar says "enter a name", as if there never was one. The message also never gets sent.

Any help you can provide me would be greatly appreciated.

I think I know what the problem is:
Some browsers do not send a post variable when the field is disabled.
The easiest way to fix this (temporary) is to remove "&nouserlist=7" from pms_uddeim_contentlink.php.

In 1.6 this will be fixed.

Thanks for your quick help. I went ahead and changed the "&nouserlist=7" to "&nouserlist=3" to still disallow selection from any user lists. Everything is working accurately now!

Hi there, my users get a similar error (below), and I'm using CB 1.7+. I opened the php file in question, and there is no "&nouserlist=7" in mine. what am I missing?
The weird part is that it displays the links correctly on this forum.....

Found a solution:

the settings in your uddeim are not correct

go to your uddeim settings under joomla components
select the messages tab
then with the settings bbcode set it to YES

this wil recode the url
