FIXED (fix inside): CB Login Module shows 3 unread PMs, UddeIM shows none

I just upgraded my Joomla from 2.5 to 3.4, and as a part of the process, uninstalled UddeIM for 2.5, and reinstalled it for 3.X

The CB Login module shows 3 unread messages for me, even though there are none in my account. It shows 1 unread for my Test account, although there are no messages at all. My SuperUser account is fine.

I checked the table ****_uddeim and the field "delayed" is 0 for all PMs.

Any idea what is causing this, or how to fix it?

Very strange. I have no idea what the problem is.
Can you post the uddeIM database entries for Carlos (I do not need the message text)?

fromid=Carlos or toid=Carlos

When you use mod_uddeim it shows correctly "No new messages"? The text "1 new message" is displayed by CB, correct?

It seems that the message has been trashed (totrash=1) without being read (toread=0). uddeIM does not count these messages.

That may be it... let me invoke the trash (after a backup) and see if it fixes it.

My post in CB support says that the CB module uses the UddeIM API:

So something doesn't line up...

I will post once I empty the trash.

No luck. Emptied trash - there are only 5 messages in my trash, and all of them are read. CB Login module still says 3 unread messages.

Took a look at all messages to ID #44 (my main ID). I did find 3 messages with "toread" set to 0. They are in the trash, it says... even though I do not see them in my trash. It looks like they are not showing up in my mailbox, and they are not being cleaned out by maintenance functions.

Would you like me to send you a copy of the Table, or the whole DB?
