Hi, I've installed uddeIM 2.8 component in joomla 2.5, along with Kunena forum and Phoca Gallery.

I want to add %msglink% placeholder in UDDEIM_EMN_BODY_WITHMESSAGE string (UTF8), but I get this error:

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /membri/photoshooters/joomla/administrator/components/com_uddeim/language.utf8/italian.php on line 1"

Can you help me?

Have you used a text editor that can handle unix like line feeds (\n instead of \n\r)? Maybe the whole language file has been saved in one big line.

No, you could try to upload the language file using ftp and try again.

Same issue here after our hosting upgraded PHP and MySQL. Everything was working fine before, after upgraded to PHP 5.3.25 we got this error. The italian file seems corret and the only way to let UDDEIM work is to delete that file.

Could it related to PHP or MySQL version?
