uddeIM - Plugin error on email confirmation

J 2.5, uddeIM 2.6, CB 1.7.1

In the registration process when I click the link to confirm the validity of the email provided I get the following error:

Notice: Undefined variable: config in C:\xampp\htdocs\cs2500\components\com_comprofiler\plugin\user\plug_privatemessagingsystem(uddeimpms)\pms.uddeim.php on line 495

Although it is only a notice is it normal?

Was it an upgrade? Have you also updated the CB plugin?

All plugins are up-to-date.

To install it I removed v2.5 and installed uddeIM v2.6. However I carried forward configuration.php from v2.5 and that gave me a warning the first time uddeIM was used.

So you have only updated the component, but what is about the uddeIM CB plugins? Note that one plugin has been renamed so you might have to plugins enabled now.


Sure, it gives a warning that the configuration is converted and some default values for new features are set.

I have re-installed the component and all the plugins but still have the same problem. I have also realized that I had the same problem with J 1.7.4 and uddeIM 2.5 but it was never triggered.

Any suggestion to point me in the right direction?

Ups, yes indeed, its a bug. Please change the line 495:
"$config->" into "$this->config->"
