Blank page on searching

Hi,

I've installed the uddeIM 2.4 some days ago in a 1.5.23 Jooma installation.

It works fine, but I've found an error with the searchs in the site.

A blank page appears now when doing a search withe the joomla's search module.

It had always right worked and I suspect this issue could be caused for the uddeIM installation as I've seen in the plugins Extensions Manager an alert that says this 2.4 uddeim version requires Legacy Mode to be On.

As I tel lyou i can't assure this is the cause of the search issue but have a little suspect.

Can you tell me I this incompatibility could be the cause of that issue and what would be the best solution?

These are multiple issues:
1. The plugin is Joomla 1.5 native. Please read the FAQ!
2. The search plugin should work. Can you try with the 2.3 search plugin, if it works?
3. A blank page could be caused by an error in the search plugin but I think there is another issue since I cannot reproduce your problem.

1) I know it used to be Joomla 1.5 native but as you can see in the image attached I have an alert telling it requires the legacy mode.

2) Do you mean de 2.3 joomla content search plugin?

Sorry I supposed you told dthe 2.3 uddeIm search plugin. I'll try it.

I've tried it and I get the same alert in the plugins Extensions Manager

I've found the cause!!

It was the JUGA Search plugin.

But I don't understand that alert about the legacy mode.
