GJ events can't include a URL

It looks like it's not possible to add a URL within a GJ events listing. The description seems to ignore bb-code tags . Alternatively a URL field would be nice.
Use case is to link to a forum discussion for the event and/or an external booking site where resources and money are involved.

Okay, it looks like it will accept html <a href></a> tags. That's a reasonable workaround.

It accepts standard HTML. You should see the WSYWIYG editor though so you should have a button for inserting links easily so you shouldn't have to manually type any HTML.

I don't see an editor, just a vanilla text entry box.

There's no functionality to turn off the GJ Events WYSIWYG editor which means your account either has the editor set to None, globally the editor is set to None, or your permissions might be incorrect in System > Plugins within your WYSIWYG editor.

This is very strange. We're using JCE everywhere on the site and everywhere else it's showing as expected. We have only 3 published profiles, one each for front-end, back-end and mobile. In the config for the front-end profile it's supposed to be active for all users in all non-public groups for all components. What am I missing please?
