autoaction add user to groupjive group was created by AlanJones
I'm not having much success with AutoActions.
I'm trying to add new registrations to a groupjive group.

I have the trigger at: onAfterUserRegistration
There aren't any conditions I need (I'd like every new user in this group) but I have it set to email: not empty
The mode is Join Groups and I have the specific group selected (I tried it with pitting the group ID in also).

What am i doing wrong?

Where are you testing that it's working or not? onAfterUserRegistration only applies to frontend so if you're testing this in backend it won't work. There shouldn't be anything further you'd need to configure. Just the trigger and the action parameters itself to join whatever specific groups you want.

I'm testing it in the frontend on a live dev site.
Yes I have it like that, but it's not working... I'm not sure what's wrong; any other ideas?

Is CB Auto Actions published and public access? Within your auto action under the Parameters tab set Debug to Enable then retry. This will cause CB Auto Actions to output any errors that may have occurred.

Yes, Auto Actions is public and published...
OK, it says :: Action 116 :: CB GroupJive is not installed
But GJ is installed and functioning.
Maybe because the group category is Registered and above it's trying to join the group before the user access level has changed to registered?

Ensure CB GroupJive in CB > Plugin Management is public and published. If you changed its access there the the plugin quite literally will not load for non-registered users. This means even its API is inaccessible resulting in CB Auto Actions thinking it doesn't exist. Use category and menu access to control access to groups.
