[SOLVED] Email Notification Groupjive was created by assurement
Hi, I try to notify with email my groups.

I have the last joomla, communitu builder and plugins.
Connunity and Joomla can send email (mass mail) and groupjive configuration is on email.
Cb_activity and Cb_auto actions are publsihed and all groupjive activities in cb_auto actions.

I would like to notify groups by email when :
- a new user join a group (owner and members)
- message on the wall (members)
- event : new, modify, delete (members)
- file : creat (members)
- comment, like ...

There's notifications built into CB GroupJive. Once a user joins a group they can click the Notifications menu item in that group and subscribe to various notifications. This assumes Notifications are enabled in CB GroupJive > Parameters > Notifications.

Hi Kyle

Notification parameters of groupjive is on email.
I have 3 users for test and all subscibre to notification (button on canvas). But i haven't a menu item in group with a choice to subscribe to differents notifications.

Navigate to a group and use the below to subscribe to group notifications.




This should then display the below page.




Note emails won't send if you've published the System Actions in CB Auto Actions to replace the notifications with CB Activity notifications.

Thanks I've got it.

But all are already checked and no email notification on my 3 users.
As owner i also try a message to the group but no email and no message on the profile.

All activities are stream and notifications could be seen in profile.

Are outbound emails working at all for your site? Try messaging a user using the Mass Mailer button (select their checkbox first) in CB > User Management.
