php upgrade causes warnings

after getting joomla messages about no longer using php 7.1, I upgraded to 7.3 and immediately got warnings of trigger errors with cbsubs/cbgroupjive

(CBSubs version 4.3.1+build.2019.06.06.22.04.17.2b12f2e80; reverting to 7.1 removes these. Is this a CB error or a joomla one? (joomla 3.9.11)

You need to provide the warnings/errors. CB has already been tested up to PHP 7.3.9 as working fine. Ensure your install is completely up to date.

CB control panel has Your version is 2.4.2 Latest version 2.4.2

With php set to 7.3, viewing Community Builder User Management shows:

This warning appears repeatedly citing different lines;

I have re-set the php version to 7.2 and the error does not occur.

You're using the latest Stable version. That is not the latest Build version. The latest version is 2.4.2+build.2019.09.04.15.43.19.0ccedd068.

That has already been fixed in the latest CBSubs build, which is 4.3.1+build.2019.08.15.16.08.53.0334c7a14.

In short your install is out of date. Please update and you should have no issues from CB on PHP 7.3.

That's not coming from CB. You'll need to contact the developer of your Ads Manager extension, but if the above out of date CB is any indication you might just need to update Ads Manager as well.

I've just run the update package of all cb fields (thanks for making this so simple) but this has not fixed the problem; I'm still seeing :the warning as in my previous reply
