[#6740] CB connect linkedin issue was created by soportemarketing
Hello:

I am using CB connect last update to register by linkedin. Everything works fine, but I can´t map first-name, last-name or formatted-name to community builder fields. In jos_comprofiler all them appears NULL, but linkedin_userid that has the id right

In jos_users I can see email, user whole name and username.

Could you help me?

Thanks

Don't map core fields. Those are done automatically. You do not need to map name, first name, middle name, last name, email, avatar, or username. I will be fixing this in a later release to make it so you won't be able to remap those core fields anymore.

Hello Krileon:

I'm not mapping any core field. I'm mapping:

first-name to cb_nombre
last-name to cb_primerapellido
formatted-name to cb_segundoapellido

as you can see in attachment, but all they are mapped null.

Ah, I see the issue. The API sends the field data with the dash removed so first-name is firstName. This causes the field mapping to fail since it's looking for first-name and not firstName. Have added a bug ticket to fix.

You don't need to wait for 7.1.0. Next nightly build will include the fix, which should be out later today or early tomorrow.
