Hi, I'm using CB1.8.1 and am having trouble getting it to send emails from a user profile using the Send Email link when I use the Display Link to Email Form function. I get the following error -

You are not authorized to view this page!
You need to log in.

I'm guessing its a configuration issue but I've tried everything but no success.

Any ideas?

JR

could mean that one of your plugins or tabs is not public.

Hi, thanks for the input. I've had a look at both tabs and plugins and cannot see anything obvious that needs publishing to get this to work.

What I did discover though is if I login the frontend, the Send Email function works fine. It brings up the contact form, no problems so it seems to be a permissions thing.

I've opened up every part of CB trying to find the right configuration to adjust but no joy.

Any other suggestions?

Nope - this works just fine on all my tests.

Hello, as this is a specific requirement from my client to get this functionality working, is there any advantage in me taking up a CB Advanced member subscription so that I can work through this with a team member until the problem is resolved? Would providing super admin access to the backend help?

Bottom line is I need to get this working so would appreciate a recommendation as to what to do next.

Yes, becoming an Advanced member will permit you to post on the Advanced Support forum area where CB Team specialists will respond when they can.

You can also become a Professional member and post on the Professional support forum area where CB Team specialists will respond on the same or at most next business day.

Posting in these areas will certainly help you debug your specific issue which as I said I cannot replicate on a clean installation. Which leads me to believe that something else on your environment or something else you installed is causing this issue.
