Another chance for Community Builder

Hi,
I once tried CB, but after a while I dismissed it.

I really want to give CB a second chance, but I need som help.

1. Is it possible to integrate DJ-Classifieds and CB - and how?

2. DJ-Classifieds, and other components require log in of their own, how do I avoid having a CB log in and a DJ-Classifeids log in at the same time?

3. How do i create a tab ofr DJ-Classifieds to show up in CB profile and is there anything else I need to do to reach full integration?

Please bear with me if this is not the right forum, and please let me know if someone can help me. I think it is about time to learn more about log in and the integration of CB into Joomla .

Look like all of you CB questions are not related with CB.

CB needs the CB Login module to work.

Yes, but when I have the CB component and the CB login module is it then possible to have an integrated site where users are only supposed to log on to one place?

I can see CB is integrated with, among others, Kunena. Is it possibele to create the same kind of integration with other componenst like DJ-classifieds or something else?

I relly think CB could be the solution to my site.

It depends on how the other extension works.
That's why I replied you need to pursue this on the other extension forum (if they have one).

CB creates Joomla users just fine - so if the component can work off the Joomla users table, then all is ok.
If their login module has extra steps that must be performed for their extension, then you would need possibly some extra CB (login related) plugin to handle this extra action. The other extensions developer once again could shed some light on this matter also.

I just took a look at the DJ site:

dj-extensions.com/dj-classifieds/blog

I see no mention of a DJ related login module.

It is first when a new user wants to sell a new item that he needs to register, and then a login module pops up. Can that be replaced by the CB log in module, so that there is not two log in modules at this specific place.

The place for classifieds is for registered users, only not at the tab where you can see everything that is for sale.

And then I hopw it is possible to create a tab like the one for forum or blog which can be shown in the users profile.
