forgot password - mail issue was created by antoinebo
hello and thx in advance for your help

When trying to send forgotten pw to user, user is redirected to login page and no email sent

Looked at posts and added menus as requested in 1.3.1 doc. did not work
No .html in joomla root as also suggested in a previous post

recently upgraded from 1.2x where system worked fine

CBlogin works fine for new user registration and email being sent for confirmation

Anything else I can try

Thanks much

Sorry - here it is

1. Is CB login module published and joomlas unpublished?
Yes
Using "disable core registration" plugin
See plugin below
Interestingly enough when I turn off "Disable core registration" user gets sent back to Joomla registration page instead of being sent PW code.
From the Joomla registration page, the Lost PW process works fine

2. Is CB registration independent of joomlas?
Yes- All CB

3. Is your webhost using the latest PHP5?
Yes 5.2.14

4. Is CB and Joomla up to date?
CB 1.3.1
Joomla 1.5.15

5. Is your CB default template enabled in plugin management?
yes

6. Does using default joomla template resolve your issue?
Using JA Purity

7. Have you disabled CB plugins 1 by 1 until resolved work?
Only plug in relevant is a PAssphrase plugin - No changes when turned off

8. Have you disabled Joomla modules 1 by 1 until resolved work?
yes

9. Have you disabled Joomla plugins 1 by 1 until resolved work?
Yes

10. Have you ran all CB tools? (should be all green)
yes
CB plugin "cb Geocode Factory": no database or no database description. All other green

11. Does a fresh Joomla and CB install work? (in subfolder without replacing current site)
Not tried yet

12. Is your webhost PHP memory limit set high enough? (memory_limit)
not issue

13. Is your webhost PHP timeout limit set high enough? (max_execution_time)
Not issue

14. Have you checked permissions from joomla backend? (should be all green)

Not sure - been a while and just upgraded to 1.3.1

16. Have you disabled and purged Joomla cache?
Yes

17. Have you disabled and purged Browser cache?

Any language plugins installed?

SEF enabled? If yes try disabling and testing again.

BTW - Joomla 1.5.15 is 7 releases behind latest!

Ok - I enabled debug and got this message

Notice: Constant _UE_ALLOW_EMAIL_REPLYTO already defined in /homepages/41/d210645534/htdocs/bonlieu/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/french/french.php on line 124

I removed the French plug in entirely and now that message doe snot show but the process still does not work

Interestingly, the debug shows that ..../htdocs/bonlieu/language/fr-FR/fr-FR.com_comprofiler.ini still loads but I can not find it on my FTP

Any idea?
