Does anyone know if there is a vbridge plugin in the pipeline? There seemed to be plenty of indications in the past that this was on the way, but it seems to have dried up.

Nope, predator over on the joomla forums said that a vbridge plugin would be coming down the pipe near or concurrent with RC2 being available to the public.

Expect it soon!

vBridge doesn't work with CB RC2 and I would strongly warn against installing it. vB uses different password hashing to joomla and vBridge alters joomla.php to use vBs password hashing. If you start then changing passwords in CB they will not work with vB or your joomla admin login. I temporarily lost admin access, and it took a good while to work it out.

BE WARNED!

Hi Larpo,

This thread is about the upcoming vBridge plugin specifically for CB RC2. One's in the works and expected soon.

Of course, if you were responding to slow's post re: about it already being released, I understand.

We'll get an update soon from Marco that will bridge vBulletin and RC2!

Marko's been sick, but he's back at the computer, so we might see a plugin from him sometime soon!

:P
