Multi registration forms!! was created by down999
Pleasee... I love this community builder project! ;)

... is there some possible way (most easiest, and cheapest), to create more registrations forms, and after registration add a registered user to specify group?!?!
And offcourse, if the user want to edit his profile, he will be able to edit (show) just fields in which group he is.
Nothing less, and nothing more.
I see here some answers that the CB subs could that, but it is the big hammer to that.

thaanks a lot, for advice... :)

Joomla 1.5, or 1.6

No answers :(
Nevermind, I have found a solution, that is good for me. So if somebody is trying to resolve this issue, here are my results.

What I have?:
1) Joomla 1.6.1 + update
2) Community Builder 1.4
3) One older plugin "CB JLS Group Selection by User in Registration", from here:
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension-specific/community-builder-extensions/community-builder-management/6331
I edited this plugin to working with the latest version of Joomla and CB. And a new name of this plugin is CB AutoAssignGroup or CB.AAG

Next we need this configuration:

- two new groups, that we can create in the Joomla 1.6
for example:
user
company
- after that... we need to create two tabs in the CB Tabs manager. And these two tabs, we assign one tab to the one group, and second tab to the another group.
for example:
Tab1: About user => User group to allow access to = user
Tab2: About company => User group to allow access to = company
- after that... these two tabs we can fill with fields that we want.
- next... we need another one extra field (Single select) with values of group names (that we are created in joomla 1.6, in first step)
user
company
- and at the end... the name of this extra field (cb_something), we must to add to the configuration of plugin CB.AAG.

That's it.

After registration (in some group), a new registered user will have in they profil a new tab, which he could to see and edit.

... sorry for my bad english ...
... and just warning and information. I'm not professional programmer, so this plugin is just on your responsibility...

:) thank you. I'm happy that is here somebody who also needs this simple feature. :)

I don't know why this isn't standard feature in joomla or community builder. The same with drupal. :(
