[SOLVED] Internal Server Error was created by 88keyman
Just upgraded to CBSubs 4.0.1 and now I'm getting an Internal Server Error (500) whenever I try to create a new membership from the frontend or backend. If I use an existing membership, I am able to renew and extend the membership for the coming year. Also, all other functions seem to be intact. My e-mails about expiration and mailers that have been set up are working fine.

Joomla 3.4.8
CB 2.0.12
CBSubs 4.0.1

Turn on Joomla debug to maximum level and retest to see if more informative messages occur.
If not then check your server error log also.

I wasn't able to get any more descriptive errors. I have contacted my host to see if they can get a better sense of what is going on from their apache logs.

This is still happening. I need some assistance, please.

Here is what I know:

1. New memberships cannot be processed from frontend.
2. New memberships can be processed from backend.
3. Renewals can be processed from frontend and backend.

This all occurred when we upgraded to CB 2.0 and CB Subs 4.01 a couple months ago. Backend new membership creation was fixed in a CB release. Not sure what is going on with frontend new membership creation, though.

We are now running CB 2.0.13. Joomla and CBSubs versions are the same as before.

OK. I have narrowed this down to the cbpaidsubsbot. When it's enabled, my site throws 500 errors any time I try to access a page that is protected by content rules. When I disable it, the site works normally and new people are able to register on the front end. Any help would be appreciated because I really would like to keep the content protected for non members.

I have tried uninstalling it and re-installing it and that doesn't help.

Thanks.
