wjgadmin wrote: Yes, I am completely aware of how pro rating works. As I stated, the amount is not correct and far from it.
I will pm you the exact numbers.

While I truly appreciate your details, I can handle the math. I’m stating it is incorrect 100% sure, so please help me figure out why.

No the users are all on a monthly recurring plan and none have paid in advance. Only the current month and it is automatically withdrawn each month like all others.

Thank you.

I’ve looked for an inconsistency and haven’t found one yet. I thought perhaps it could’ve been due to a payment processor however I’ve confirmed this same incident from both PayPal & Stripe.
The only consistency I’ve found thus far is that all of these users had made past payments meaning they weren’t new members.
I’ve setup a test site and would be happy to send you the login details so you can see for yourself. I appreciate the support to find the cause of this. We had to manually do the calculations & manually charge each client the amount which was underpaid. As you can imagine this wasn’t the most optimal solution. Thank you

Even if you completely credit the full month that still would only go at minimum to $105. Not sure how they're being charged less than that unless there's another discount being applied or something else being prorated. Please PM backend super administrator login credentials for your test site with a test user that has this scenario and will take a look.

Appears to be due to prorating being based off the price of the plan and not what they actually paid for the plan. So for example if the plan is $50 and they paid $15 then prorating will calculate remaining value from $50 and not $15. Have added a bug ticket to investigate further as this doesn't seam intentional. It's possible this only affects recurring payments as we haven't seen such issue with single payments here.

With that said the original price of your subscription appears to have been $15 and increased to $50. No promotion appears applied. This means you changed the price of a plan while it had active subscriptions (confirmed in change log of the plan). If that had not happened the calculations would've never been incorrect (even though they should be based off the amount paid and not the plan price). So this explains why you're seeing incorrect prorated amounts.
