[#7397] CBSubs - How to build up your own 'terms & condition' text which is translatable

I made the following steps:
1. Under Global Configuration I have set 'Default Editor' to none (...so no editor will set these disturbing paragraph elements anymore :-) )
2. I added the String CBSUBS_TERMS_AND_CONDITIONS here...



3. I added the following translation strings into the following 3 files:

File: CB Paid Subscriptions - de-DE
I added this: 'CBSUBS_TERMS_AND_CONDITIONS' => 'Deutsch',

File: CB Paid Subscriptions - es-ES
I added this: 'CBSUBS_TERMS_AND_CONDITIONS' => 'Spanish',

File: CB Paid Subscriptions - en-GB
I added this: 'CBSUBS_TERMS_AND_CONDITIONS' => 'English',

4. The result is as follows:



...if you look at the layout, you see, that the checkbox and the String is aligned correctly, this is a proof that there are no disturbing paragraph elements. But there is no translation at all. Interesting is also the fact that this is the only field that will not be translated. With the other fields I had no problem ....

Don't edit language files directly. Be sure to use language overrides shown below. These will also work for CBSubs language plugins.

If still not working try adding the language override to your CB language plugins instead. Example override as follows.

Key: CBSUBS_TERMS_AND_CONDITIONS

Hi - I added now the string:

'CBSUBS_TERMS_AND_CONDITIONS' => 'german translation',

to the (german) CB language plugin (Filename: 'de-DE' ... via backend of this plugin and via override tab) - Still does not work ?!?

But are you sure that this is not a bug? ...Because it is only this field in this basket context that will not be translated ?!?
...all the other fields will be translated fine....

Have reviewed the code where this is output and it's missing an API call which is resulting in the translation not working. Have added a bug ticket and fixed for next build release.

HI - are there more detailed infos available about this next planned rel date? When I click on #7397 I get a 'not authorized' message

At this time you can't check CBSubs ticket status without asking. Bug has been fixed and is pending review before it's merged and released in a new build release.
