Groupjive Auto action leave all groups? was created by NicoFaaij
Hi,

GroupJive has an auto "Leave Groups". But than, as Administrator, I have to select which group(s) in the definition of that Auto. That is difficult as users can create their own groups when the system is used.

I want a really "Leave groups" functionality. So when the trigger is fired the user should leave all the groups, whatever the are named.

Is there a nice way to create an Auto Leave Groups to delete all group participation's of the person who triggerd that Auto? Or do I have to be dirty with an SQL and delete all the rows with his user_id in the #_groupjive_users table, and will that cover it all?

Thanks in advance,
Nico

You'd need to use a Code action to query for all the groups they're in, loop it, and leave each one individually. This can be done with the below GJ API.

Code:
$usrs = cbgjData::getUsers( null, null, array( 'user_id', '=', '[user_id]' ) ); if ( $usrs ) foreach ( $usrs as $usr ) { $usr->deleteAll(); }
