To make my CB member's website more efficient I would like to separate the home page from the membership's page, by having them on different installations.

In that way I can have the CB extensions on a dedicated Joomla installation, without a bunch of unnecessary extensions that use resources and database space, and can create conflicts which end up slowing down my membership's page.

I would like to run the Home Page of my website (Home, blog, about, contact) with "Wordpress," and have "Joomla" only for my CB Member's page. That, will also give me the advantage to have others to work on my website, without messing up my CB membership's website.

In order to do that I'll have to move my current Joomla installation to a subdirectory, i.e: (domian.com/cb)

Will that affect my CBSubs current subscriptions, payments etc, in anyway?

Thanks advance!

The root path to Joomla won't matter. It should work fine in a sub directory, sub domain, etc..
