[SOLVED] Email instead of Username

Is it possible to use an email instead of the Username?

I have an intranet for a global company and they want to use company emails for the Username in conjunction with a Password so that they know exactly who each member is and so they don't get silly Usernames.

Is this possible or is there an extension out there that will do this?

Within CB > Configuration > General set "Login Method" to "Email Address". Next within CB > Configuration > User Profile set "Username Fallback" to "Email Address". Now within CB > Field Management edit the username field and set both "Show on Registration" and "Show on Profile Edit" to "No". Should work how you're expecting. I have made those changes but when I test a new Sign Up it displays an Error - Please enter your name.

It's asking for a Name, not a Username. You still need to supply a Name. Did you also hide the Name field from registration and profile edit?

No I Didn't change Name.

Username, Email, Name, and Password are all core and required Joomla inputs. Username can be disabled in CB and CB will auto populate it with the fallback. Please review your CB 2.0 Primer Book in addition to the videos below.

Is the Name field (or the first, middle, or last name fields) present on the registration form? You must complete those fields.
