[#4859] cb 2 video field link only (no upload) not working

I am trying to get the video field working but am having some issues.

When I allow uploading and linking everything works fine. When I disable uploading and only allow linking then the video field does not save when editing a users profile.

Am I doing something wrong?

Is it giving a specific error of any kind? What video are you trying to link to? Linking to all video types is not supported, the video URL has to be an actual video. The exception being youtube. Please be sure to test with debug mode and maximum error reporting enable in Joomla global configuration.

No errors reported (but I haven't checked with error reporting switched on yet).

I am trying to link to a youtube video.

As I said, when uploading and linking are turned on I can link to the video with no problems and it displays as expected.
As soon as uploading is disabled in admin I can no longer enter a link to the same video (though if the link is already set before uploading is turned off the video still displays). Everything looks ok but when the profile is saved the video field reverts to empty.

I will test further with error reporting switched on.

I was able to confirm this and opened a ticket so it gets fixed for next release.

FYI - I have also identified an issue with uploading .mov files - it seems that the extension validation does not let me upload such files - .mp4 seems to work.
