[#2572] Groupjive forum problem was created by fralec
Hi there,

Admins can access and post on forums but ordinary GJ members are getting a "you do not have permission" message when they click on the forum link. Forums are created fine etc. Kunena 1.6.4. Groupjive 2.3 CB 1.4

Have a great day!

Best regards,
Kevin

Could not duplicate your issue, please provide what Joomla version you're using. Tested working on K1.6.4 (or 1.6.5), CB 1.4, and GJ 2.3. Please provide what access the group is set to, type, etc..

Is there some permission etc that needs to be set so that members can access the automatically created forums on the GJ link?

I see, the issue is likely the result of using J1.6. We've known issues currently within CB regarding J1.6 ACL. What's happening is the usergroups are not matching up correctly resulting in blocking access. I've created a bug ticket to investigate further to see if I can fix within GJ directly.
