Download Issues

Some people have been reporting download issues when trying to download latest CB package.

In order to help us debug this issue, we need to the following information:

1. Your IP address (use www.whatsmyip.org/ if needed)
2. While you are attempting download please start a 'tracert www.joomlapolis.com ' from your windows dos prompt or equivalent)

I need tracert results also.

Hi, I'm having serious problems downloading the cb1.7 package. Tried so many times!! Fails in two locations, both in shanghai.

My current IP address that I am using now is 112.64.111.69.

Traceroute information:
traceroute to www.joomlapolis.com (80.74.158.161), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets
1 192.168.137.2 (192.168.137.2) 0.164 ms 0.088 ms 0.272 ms
2 * * *
3 * * *
..
.. similar info until line 30.

The downloading abruptly cut off and I always gets incomplete file, of different sizes each time.

I am using Ubuntu for this download. But the same problem also in OS X.

Hi again, when I tried to download chrome using the same browser, I have no problems. The traceroute also shows similar info.

chenghwee@ubuntu:~$ traceroute dl.google.com
traceroute to dl.google.com (74.125.71.136), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets
1 192.168.137.2 (192.168.137.2) 0.670 ms 0.642 ms 0.593 ms
2 * * *
3 * * *
same info until hop 30 i.e. * * *

Your first firewall does not allow traceroute packetss, that's why next hops display the * * *.
