Registration abuse protection has been implemented to scan registration ip addresses against external services designed for handling known abusive ip addresses. Includes support for both AbuseIPDB and CrowdSecCTI providing industry leading ip address protections. Additional services can and will be implemented later so if you have a good one to recommend please let us know below!
Automatic blocking of ip addresses flagged as abusive is included from the start and fully customizable for how long or if maybe you just want to block the registration attempt. Abuse reports are also entirely manageable from backend to provide built in caching to avoid wasting external API tokens on repeat ip addresses.
You even have full access to the report so you can evaluate the data more clearly to determine if maybe the ip address needs whitelisted.
In addition to abuse protection additional enhancements to Kunena protection have been added to the CB AntiSpam Kunena Bot. You can now block replies to Stale topics. A stale topic is a topic too old to be relevant. Pushing old content to the top of your forums can hurt discoverability and SEO by bumping out of date information. With stale topic protection you can directly block replies to topics using a customizable date range.
