I have setup a site using J3 and have installed most CB plugins etc except for mod.cbgroupjive_253_j17.zip.
It gives the following error when I try. I gather that when the extension is not J3 compatible this is the error given.
Warning
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file.
All other GJ files installed ok

Known issue, next release will have this fixed. Quick fix is to edit the j17 modules XML and change "install" XML root tag to "extension"; it should then work perfectly fine.
