[SOLVED] Login users redirect to home was created by mboaria
Hi Krileon,

I have another problem: When users are logged in, and try to go to maiten.com/staff it redirects to homepage maiten.com and users have to again go to maiten.com/staff to see CB Activity.

Why it is redirecting to home?
How can I get that never go to home and always to maiten.com/staff?

No idea, there's no redirect like that in CB Activity at all. The only explanation would be ACL protection on the menu item and maybe cache hasn't been updated to see that they're logged in. Try purging and disabling Joomla cache then see if issue persists.

Hi, problem persists, I handle it changing in CB -> Configuration -> Registration -> and where is the filed to redirect after first login I let blank and change it in -> modules -> cb login -> I here I put /staff on login redirect. But it does not work so I tried to CB -> Configuration -> Registration -> let that field with /staff but does not work neither.

I have searched everywhere but I do not have any plugin redirect, or a components -> redirect with that, just CB configuration and cb login module. Any ideas?

All URLs supplied in parameters should be non-SEF and begin with index.php. Do not use relative URLs. The login redirect parameter in CB > Configuration > Registration only works on First Login as its parameter name suggestions. For all other logins it will use whatever login redirect you've supplied in your CB Login Module.

Hi Krileon,

I have tried everything but the problem continues. I have disable caché system as you recommend but it is still redirecting users to homepage when they tried to go to maiten.com/staff the first time of the day, and when they go again to maiten.com/staff it redirects to page of activity without request a login (that is perfect because I do not want they have to login everytime). So, could you check please what could be causing this first redirection to homepage instead of activity page?

CB Activity endpoints only redirect if the user doesn't have access to the stream they're trying to directly view. In which case it will show "Not authorized." wherever your Joomla message queue outputs to. If you don't see "Not authorized." then I've no clue what is doing the redirect as that's the only redirects that exist in CB Activity.

If using Recent Activity the only access checks being applied should be from your Joomla menu item. If you're trying to output someones profile activity then the viewing user needs to be able to access that users profile and their Activity tab. All of this is Public by default so you would have to have deliberately set different access for all this. Review our demo site for configuration comparison as backend access is provided.
