Hi,
I would like to log an activity when all kind of users join a group.
I explain ==> I have CB Auto Actions: System Actions # 45 ("CB Activités / CB GroupJive - Group Join / Logs activity when joining a group.") enabled and set for "everyone".
I have two different groups : one is "Registered" and the other one is "Office"
"registered" users are only in Registered and "office" users are both in Registered and Office.
In an "invite group", I invite one user in Registered and one user in Office.
On my activity page (menu / cb activity : with action set on "recent activity"), [the page can only be seen by the group Office] when the Office user joins I get an activity, but when the Registered user joins I don't get any activity.
Would you have an idea why ?
Thanks for the help.

Simply publish the system action "CB GroupJive - Group Join". You do not need to change its access (which you'd have to do by saving a copy of it). It will log an activity entry every time someone joins a group. You will not see join activity of groups you can't access though. If the category is outside the users access (they can't see the GJ category) then they won't see the activity. If the group is an Invite Only (private) group then only those already in the group can see the join activity.

Thanks for your answer
But system action "CB GroupJive - Group Join" is already published.
I am the "owner" of the invite group. I guess I should see all kind of (invited) users when they join (plus, I was, as owner, inviting them).
When a user from the group Office joins, there is an activity created, but not when a user from the Registered group joins.
That is what I don't understand.

I've no idea. There's no condition against access in that system action. It's entirely based off their status in the group it self. As long as they're active when they joined or are promoted to active after joining it will create the activity. My guess is maybe a plugin access permission issue. Ensure CB Auto Actions in CB > Plugin Management is Public access.

"Ensure CB Auto Actions in CB > Plugin Management is Public access."

==> it is on Public access

CB Activities is set on "Office" group access.
Could it be it ?
But as I don't want users (only) in the Registered group to see activities and/or notifications in their profile (see capture), I don't know how to do differently !

Your screenshot is not of activity. That's notifications. If you want a group join notification then you need to publish the system action "CB GroupJive - Group Join Notification" then within your group navigate to the Notifications page and ensure you're set to be notified of joins.

CB Activities is set on "Office" group access. Could it be it ?

Yes, that means CB Activity can't load for Registered users. The API is not accessible to CB Auto Actions for it to log anything. In 99.9% cases leave plugin access as Public in CB > Plugin Management. Do not change it unless you strictly understand the need to do so as it completely blocks loading of that plugin, in all regards, for users without the selected access.

But as I don't want users (only) in the Registered group to see activities and/or notifications in their profile (see capture), I don't know how to do differently !

Change the Access of the Activity tab in CB > Tab Management to prevent them from seeing profile activity. For Notifications you've no choice but to disable it globally in CB Activity > Parameters > General then instead use a module with Mode set to Notifications then adjust the modules Access as needed.
